Marriage Start: A Pre-Marital Course
Preparing for a strong, Christ-centered marriage starts here.
Marriage Start is a small group course designed to help engaged couples lay a solid foundation for a lifelong commitment.
Offered three times a year—in the winter, spring, and fall—Marriage Start walks couples through the trusted content of Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts by Drs. Les & Leslie Parrott. Together, you’ll explore essential topics like:
- Communication & conflict resolution
- Financial habits & planning
- Emotional & physical intimacy
- Expectations & personality dynamics
- Faith & spiritual intimacy
Each couple will also complete an online assessment that highlights strengths and growth areas, offering personalized insights into your relationship. The course includes five group sessions and one-on-one meetings with a mentor couple to review your assessment results.
Due to volunteer and space availability, these sessions may be held at campuses other than the one you regularly attend. We appreciate your flexibility in making this short-term commitment at a different location.
To be married at any Ada Bible Church location or by an Ada Bible Church pastor, completion of the Marriage Start course is required prior to your wedding day.
